Hopi Polacca Carved and Painted Gourd with Ladder
by Rudeford Poleahla Sr.

A piece of Native American art,
combining the traditions of Hopi carving, painting, and gourd art.

It is painted a terracotta color with rain clouds design and
bands of blue, yellow and red painted all around the gourd below the clouds.

Overall measures are 6 ¼” tall to the top of the ladder, 5 ½” wide.
The gourd itself is 3” tall.

It appears the top 2 rounds on the ladder are missing or the notches were caved but the round were not installed.
