Mens Carhartt 101230 Fleece-Lined Sandstone Duck Berwick Jacket, "Carhartt Brown" (211) - Size Small
I only wore it casually & lightly (no manual labor, chores, etc.), thus the noticeable fading in combination without the signs of heavier use (fraying, tears, etc.).
I made a leather pull for the inside pocket zipper and a “leather tab” for the main front zipper to provide a tactile “bump” to give extra purchase when using outside with gloves on (you can cut them off if you don’t like them). See closeup pics.
I like the zipper/storm flap combo feature of the jacket. I once wore another heavy-duty insulated canvas work jacket with only a zipper, and I could feel the wind blowing through the zipper teeth (what basically led me to this jacket).
I also like the shape of the front hand pockets — it keeps items more securely (it can also serve as a “dump” pocket) than other trucker-style jackets with “slash” front hand pockets where items are more likely to fall out.
Take note of the bottom opening size (measurement in PIC) — when I do the zippers, the jacket hugs my hips without much extra room (it is more snug at the hips than I prefer for me to wear comfortably layering with a hoodie underneath).
