Rare and beautiful 19th-century Georgian style cut glass decanter, either American or English. Annular stopper with star cutting and faceted sides, above a banded neck, beautiful petal cuts, a band of diamond cuts, and blaze cuts to base, with polished pontil on bottom. Measures 9.5" high and 5" in diameter at its widest. In excellent condition considering its age, with no chips or cracks or cloudiness, just one teeny, teeny (and I mean teeny) chip to top of stopper.
