item is BRAND NEW. Crafted from durable, weather resistant, cowhide, this 5/8'' curb strap features two rows of 3-3/4'' flat link chain, spot welded in the middle, for greater strength. The lot came from the estate of an Artisan Leather Crafter & Saddler. The double flat link chain measures 3-3/4", but the entire piece end-to-end is 7"-11" long, depending on which holes you buckle into. This should give you the flexibility to suit most needs. This listing is for the BURGUNDY Color ONLY (bottom strap,darker of the two shown above)as the platform won't let me list it with variations. If you prefer the top, lighter one, there should be another listing in the leather category of my store. I also offer an even lighter color single chain version. Since nothing is perfect, be sure to use the zoom feature to look at any & all cosmetic issues. Please remember that these are animal skin, which means they are not usually perfect. Beware of
sellers that don't allow returns. There must be a reason they don't
