Beautiful Solid Brass Nutcracker from Italy.   Some say the pattern is the Medici Coat of Arms, I haven't been able to verify that, but it is a beautiful Florentine pattern nonetheless.

Each one measures 5 and 5/8" long when closed and a little over 1" wide Weight 5 oz.  

Very good vintage condition, no damage, slight patina.
