Engraver, publisher and art merchant. Born in Naples; Posted by Ferdinand IV in London as a pupil of Francesco Bartolozzi in London (1781-1784). He later became a merchant and publisher, collaborating with his brother Rocco Bovi. Specialized in color prints.
