About this prop:Throughout the taping of the second season of online comedy series "Your Level SUCKS", host Draco would keep track of production notes on a notepad he kept nearby. The pen he used was an otherwise unremarkable white and red ballpoint pen that featured the Amiga Computers company logo. The pen was referred to as the "Kickstarter Pen" because Draco received it in exchange for supporting the fundraiser for a book about the company.
Starting several episodes into the season Draco began incorporating the pen into various practical gags at the start of each episode as a way to let viewers know the actual show was about to start. The visual gags with the pen started small with Draco merely hiding it on his person somewhere but by the end of the season he was doing things like hiding the pen inside of powdered drink mixes, boxes of cereal, Christmas crackers, and even a replica of Coca-Cola's infamous "Magican" promotional can. These gags were often an abrupt bait-and-switch complete with misdirections to keep viewers guessing at what point the pen was going to show up. Draco created the physical props for these gags and many of the ideas were written by long-time Gatorbox contributor and online humorist Rob "Roastmaster" Maestro.
About this replica:The actual pen used during the production of the show was auctioned off (in the replica Coca-Cola Magican) for the charity Extra Life following the end of the season. This listing is for a 1:1 exact replica of the pen from the show. It is not a screen-used prop. This is being sold as a fun little piece of kitsch memorabilia from an old comedy show but it's actually a fully functional ballpoint pen; you can write with it if you want to. Starting with Gatorbox's 2024 season Draco now uses one of these replica pens on the air if he ever needs to take notes during a stream.
