Vintage Hoover Model 8509 Toaster Used Not Working For Parts or Repair. this listing is for (1) Hoover Model 8509 Toaster, this Toaster is Used. I have cleaned the dust off of this toaster and gently blown it out with air, I plugged it in, pushed the leaver down a few times which didn't want to stay down but did end up staying down after a few trys and moved the light/dark lever back and forth and it never heated up. Looking inside I couldn't see any broken spots in the heating element but there may be one somewhere or maybe there's a dirty connection somewhere that needs to be cleaned. This toaster has some light rust and spots inside and out that should clean right off with some polish or something and there's a couple small dents on the front and back that could be flattened out pretty easy. The floral label on the front has some scratches and marks and the Red Hoover logo has faded away but can still be seen in the light at the right angle, the plastic leaver knobs look like they are in good shape but are still dirtyand could use some more cleaning/polishing to look new again. This Toaster is being sold For Parts or Repair, I believe with a little work this toaster could be brought back to good working order or maybe someone could use the parts to repair one that is in better shape.

The knobs/leavers have been bubble wrapped and protected by cardboard
