This is a collection of works that Katsuhiro Otomo created in 1980-1981 when he was 26-27 years old. The collection includes the title story, which was serialized in the quarterly magazine "Manga Kisoutengai" published by Kisoutengaisha for six issues, as well as four short manga, one short manga, and a series of short stories consisting of 12 stories in total. "APPLE PARADISE" is a mystery-style science fiction story set on a huge resource-mining spaceship that is about to return to Earth from a distant planet. Like the previous volume "G....", it was a "phantom work" that had never been published in book form, but all six issues (about 120 pages/unfinished) have finally been collected. In addition, the collection includes the masterpiece Western "Memories of Saint Burgh's Hill" and the complete series of short stories "That's Amazing World" based on fairy tales and literature. The short stories included are two from "SOS Great Tokyo Tankentai" (1996/Kodansha), one and four short stories from "Her Memories..." (1990/Kodansha), one and eight short stories from "Hansel and Gretel" (1981/Sony Magazines), and one short story from "GOOD WEATHER" (1981/Kitansha). The short story "I・N・R・I" was changed to a right-hand opening by switching the left and right frames when it was first published in a book, but in this book it has been returned to the original left-hand opening format as in the original manuscript, and is read from the end of the book, and is reprinted in two-tone color, just like when it first appeared in the magazine. Also, the short story "ELECTRIC BIRD LAND", which was published in black and white in the book, is being published for the first time in the "all two-tone color" version that first appeared in the magazine. *From "OTOMO THE COMPLETE WORKS" Vol. 7
