This auction is for a used Microtest network cable tester. This item is tested and working, I do not have the dongle for testing cables over long distances, but testing a cable you have both ends in your hand it works perfectly. It will test length of cable and also tone out a cable if you have  a signal toner. You will only receive whats in the pictures, the item in the pictures is the exact item you will receive. As you can see in the pictures I connected a 7 foot cable and it showed the terminals correctly and measured the length as well. I am unsure what dongles are compatible with this device, but they can be found on eBay as well.

I will not be including the battery, I have 2 of these (only need one, that's the reason for the listing) and I have discovered its best to take the battery out when not in use, it seems as if the device has a draw on the battery at all times, both of mine have needed a new battery after sitting for a month or so. If I remove the battery and just install it as needed it lasts a year or more.
