The casing is made using 3D printing technology. It fits RUTUS Atrex, Alter71 and Argo NE detectors. The casing partially protects the display from dust and rain. Rubber buttons make it easier to use the detector with gloves. A PET cover is glued over the display. The casing has a blend over the display, which to some extent prevents light from reflecting off the display cover.

 All screws in the casing are made of stainless steel.

To mount the housing, simply unscrew the 4 screws (two on the right and left side on the black stabilizing elements) and place the housing on the electronics. Screw the black side elements back on to secure the housing in place. Tighten the screws carefully with the key included in the set.
