Handsome fold-out 1963 Imperial Esso road map of Canada's Atlantic provinces, printed more than 62 years ago.

  • This map opens to 24" x 33½" and has great detail on old highway alignments in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland, with cartography by the General Drafting Company.


  • There are insets of various cities, including Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, Charlottetown, Sydney, and Halifax.


  • There's also a list of principal ferry connections.


  • The map was distributed by Imperial Oil Limited to promote its Esso brand. It is dated 1963 in the legend, and the code number on the back cover is P1162.
