*DISCLAIMER* - PLEASE READ COMPLETELY

This item is a genuine vintage “New Old Stock” piece that has been meticulously stored in our warehouse since as long as 1952.  Our items range in age from 1950 to 1990.  It has remained untouched for an impressive span of 18-75 years.  Most of our items are still sealed with the original tape, or have been carefully inspected to ensure they are in PRISTINE AND IMMACULATE condition, despite any aging or discoloration of the box.

We do not proactively test our items, but will be happy to perform a power-on test upon request.

We do not test cassette tape, VHS, BETA, 8-Track functionality due to probable belt needs.  Belts dry out after years of un-use and, similarly to cars, need to be replaced to work properly.  We recommend replacing any belts before using a unit that requires them (8-track, cassette, BETA, VHS) to ensure smooth playing.

In rare cases, we also offer "second" inventory items, open box items, or items that need repair, but may be the perfect prop!  All specifics will be clearly noted in the listing.

Your satisfaction and excitement is what we live for, and we thrive on positive feedback! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have before making a purchase.

• NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED  No warranty is implied nor in fact.  These items are up to 70 years old so keep that in mind when purchasing.

• This means you might receive a never-opened boombox in its original box, and like all vintage electronics, it may require some tinkering. This could range from adjusting knobs to lubricating or replacing belts to get back to perfect.  Many collectors understand this, but with more retro enthusiasts put there, we want to help you avoid surprises. Youtube is an incredible place to find videos about repairing vintage electronics.  We ensure everything we sell is visually inspected and functional unless otherwise noted.

• There are many vintage electronic service experts around the world that can help you "tinker" if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself. We are happy to help you locate one!  If you are an expert servicer of cassette players, VCRs, 8-track, Turntables/Record players, Transistor Radios, please message us so we can keep your info handy:)
