Non-indexable cylindrically ground insert that can be utilized to improve the hole quality for dimensional accuracy and surface finish. The inserts are designed to interchange in the existing Duodex holders for increased versatility. Although single edge constructed, it is still justifiable to dispose of the insert without regrinding.

To improve toughness and prolong tool life Madison Duodex HSS inserts are made from super premium T-15 HSS.

Using the Duodex drilling system, multiple pass drilling to produce large diameter holes is unnecessary. Use the cutter diameter for the Largest size required to cut from the solid in one operation, without center drilling or progressive drilling.
