Offered for Sale is this Stunning 24K Gold over Sterling Silver Horse Plate / Plaque by Aligi Sassu. The plaque depicts a Horse in relief. The plaque is hallmarked 24K (I believe, hard to read), .9999% and Sassu. The back of the plaque is marked .925. The plaque comes in its original display box. Based on my research I believe this plaque to have been created c1970's.
About Aligi Sussa:
Born in Milan in 1912 and died in Spain in 2000. His father was one of the founders of the Italian Socialist Party. He was a painter and sculptor. The horse figure is recurrent in many of his works. This Vintage Plate / Plaque would be a Great Addition to any Vintage / Antique Art Collection.

Weight: 67 Grams of 24K Gold Plate and Sterling Silver (no way to determine the weight of each metal)
Condition: - Good Overall Used Condition. The Box displays wear, some staining and an overall dirty appearance. The latch is in working condition. The Gold section of the plate is in Good condition with some minor scratching. The silver base displays tarnish and some scratching. Please see the pictures to view the condition of the items for yourself.
