This is an Vintage Christmas Swedish Legend Bird Nest Ornament or Tree Topper, perfect for your vintage mid-century Holiday or Swedish Decor. The large ornament has a figural pink flocked bird sitting on the side of a gold wicker nest with red velvet bow attached and features a hand drawn card inside telling of the Swedish legend associated with this ornament. Apparently, displaying a "nesting bird" in your Christmas tree is said to bring happiness in the coming year. The bird nest measures approximately 4.5" in diameter x 3.5" tall and is in very good vintage pre-owned condition. Some light overall wear commensurate with age. Please see pictures for details.
