Meticulous previous owner of over 10 years who bought the bus as a 50th birthday present having searched the market for a good while prior and was not impressed with the overall quality of the standard Danbury conversions he had seen.

He was very fortunate to find a Brazilian T2 Kombi that had been imported but not converted to right hand drive. We have long considered RHD conversions a bad idea as it leads to many complications. This bus has only covered 28,500 miles (46,000KM) from new and has reportedly never let the previous owner down, having done several trips in and around Europe.

The previous owner spent thousands on the bus to further improve drivability as well as the versatility of the interior and finally the overall aesthetics. The bus is was fully repainted in beautiful sealing wax red / Beige grey. One of the iconic early 60s colour schemes. Very popular indeed with those beautiful pastel tones indicative of the early era of motoring and complimenting the retro styling that this vehicle has without doubt achieved well. The bus has always been garaged and presents as such, with a smooth glass like feel to the paintwork.
