🔬 Why This Combination Works

The Model 3 is a rugged analog ratemeter with an easy-to-follow needle response. The 44-2 is a gamma scintillation detector that provides much stronger low-level gamma response than many standard GM probes, making small changes in background easier to see during a search.

This configuration is intended for gamma detection and NORM screening. It does not identify isotopes, and it is not the preferred detector for alpha or beta surface contamination. It should not be treated as a universal dose-rate instrument unless specifically configured and calibrated for that application.

✅ Fresh Calibration Included

The selected meter and detector will be inspected, serviced as needed, and calibrated as the delivered system by an independent third-party laboratory after purchase. The paperwork will identify the actual serialized equipment and document the applicable calibration, with standards traceable through a documented NIST measurement chain.

Please allow approximately 5 to 10 business days for calibration and final preparation. The system may be sent to the calibration laboratory as soon as payment clears, but it does not ship to the buyer until the work and final checks are complete.

The photos are representative because several compatible units are available. Serial numbers, labels, case style, and cosmetic details may vary. These are used instruments and may show normal scratches, scuffs, or other signs of professional field use. The delivered system will be clean, fully functional, and in similar overall condition. It is not being represented as new or like new.

🛡️ One-Year Limited Functional Warranty

The delivered system is covered by a one-year limited functional warranty under normal use. The warranty does not cover abuse, drops or impact, liquid intrusion, temperature shock, unauthorized modification or repair, depleted batteries, or damage to the detector, cable, or connectors.
