Description
Three Dots Guitars JB Model (Alder/ABU/R)
A renewed version of the JB, with a sound that rivals vintage guitars in the field!
This bass guitar from Three Dots Guitars was launched with the concept of providing instruments that can be used in professional settings with playability and reliability that can be picked up in the store, and at an affordable price. This high-cost performance model was completed under the supervision of bassist Tak Saito, who is deeply involved in the workshop, and Japan's leading luthier Yoshiyuki Kikuchi. The head shape adopts the design of Kikuchi Guitars, and the brand will continue to evolve as a sister brand.
While inheriting the traditional JB style, the model is made with the technology and sense that Kikuchi has cultivated, making it a model that can be used in professional settings while keeping costs down. The body is a little larger than the full-size, but is just the right size. The grip and fingerboard radius are both standard, but the neck is set at a low angle to accommodate modern playing styles, and parts are designed to maintain tightness while taking into account weight and sustain. These specifications are traditional and easy to use. These were selected and produced based on the theme of "a sound that is comparable to vintage in the field" after thorough comparison with a vintage JB owned by Tak Saito. The biggest feature of this model is the pickup made for this model. It is a part that was completed after dozens of prototypes and test plays by Tak Saito and Kikuchi. It reproduces the sound of the instrument itself well, while providing a clear attack, a thick presence that does not get lost in the ensemble, and low noise, making a big impact even with its simple specifications. The high-quality setup boasts overwhelming stress-free playability and good intonation. The brand's strong commitment is apparent in the fact that it started with a simple passive style JB rather than a unique specification that is ostentatious. The thick sound that sets it apart from typical vintage reissues has already made it a brand/model with a strong presence as a practical model for players.
Please experience the quality of the world-class domestic model.
