The Turkish Air Force incorporated the F-84F Thunderstreak aircraft into its inventory in the late 1950s.

These aircraft were acquired as part of military aid from the West following Turkey’s accession to NATO.

The F-84F Thunderstreak was used in tactical bombing and fighter-bomber roles within the Turkish Air Force.

During the Cold War, these aircraft played a significant role in enhancing Turkey’s defense capabilities.

The F-84Fs remained in active service until the early 1970s, after which they were retired and replaced by more modern jets.

These aircraft are considered a crucial step in the modernization process of the Turkish Air Force.
