Had this rig around as a backup rig. I have since sold my a7RII and no longer need this housing. It was used once in freshwater (Silfra, IS) and performed perfectly in the cold water.

I didn’t like that the SeaFrogs housings didn’t have a vacuum system that could go underwater. The plug after the vacuum test would always be untested and I just didn’t trust the system enough.

The Leak Sentinel V5 XB stays on the housing and there is a visual led to show vacuum is maintained. I would pull out the air the night before the dive. Check the led in the morning before the dive. Also kept an eye on the LED during the dive. Just liked the extra bit of protection and I also liked that the vacuum pump is just a wine vacuum pump that could be replaced while traveling.

The port is a 4" medium flat port and I ran the Sony FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA. I can confirm the 24-70mm f/4 ZA fits as well.
