Australian Star Sapphire material with many showing not so must a star as just a sheen which can be interesting in itself.

Some are blue/grayish, others are yellowish whilst most are brownish.

The photos were taken indoor under a desk lamp which diffuse the star effect; the ideal light for enabling the best star effect is direct sunlight or a single spot light.
