SHIPPING: Please see my feedback for shipping practices and service.  I do not profit on shipping, and in most cases, the amount charged is less than I actually pay.  I pack securely, well protected and with care.  If you choose PRIORITY MAIL, should there be any excess overage $ after shipping, I'll send back a partial refund.

I have a very large collection of books spanning many topics.  A massive gathering of Philip K Dick titles and editions, as well as fine press, signed limited editions, modern firsts, radical movement and conceptual art items.  I encourage you to browse my store and categories for a wide range of unique, quality offerings.

Condition: SEE IMAGES An attractive copy.  This is a stapled softcover fanzine.  Both staples are firmly seated, although there is visible rusting when seen from inside.  Hint of yellowing to the front/rear cover edges.  Minor shelfwear, firm corners.  Internally, clean and free of markings.  Fanzine is preserved in an acid-free archival bag with backing board.

About: Cover and a majority of the interior illustrations are by Roy G. Krenkel, but Tim Kirk does make an appearance here and there.  In this issue, L. Sprague de Camp does a power session of reviews, tapping 15 books to review.  There is also poetry, limericks and essays by others.

Contributors & Contents:

Amra was the clubzine for the Hyborean Legion, a club dedicated to Conan and other heroic fantasy heroes.  A softcover, stapled fanzine, printed through offset lithography, lending to clarity and sharpness of the high-quality artwork, typically in black & white, although sometimes color would appear.  Amra volume II was the primary run of this zine, and it ran for 71 issues, from 1959-1982.  They came with top-shelf cover art and internal illustrations by the likes of Gray Morrow, Roy Krenkel, BB Sams, George Barr and others.  Contributors included L. Sprague de Camp, Poul Anderson, Leigh Brackett, Jerry Pournelle, Fritz Leiber, Marion Zimmer Bradley and others.  Within, could be found articles on themes, characters, and stories the likes of Conan, Fafhrd & Grey Mouser, Harold Shea, Elric and John Carter, as well as others.  There were also book reviews, limericks, poetry, story vignettes & short-fiction.  Illustrations and drawings peppering each issue.

I will happily answer any further questions.

Making offers: I certainly can appreciate wanting a better deal, and I've made offers myself on my own purchases.  To be up front, if and when you make an offer, I will automatically reject crazy low "give it away" offers.  Best not to waste our time.  With a more reasonable offer, I will review current pricing for other comparable items out there and either accept, counter or decline submitted offer.  If in that review, I find my pricing is already LOW and outdated, I may then increase the price to bring more in line with other offerings.  I spend a lot of time sourcing the best offerings, preparing the listings with images and clear descriptions, and price fairly in MOST cases.

I remain grateful to all who consider my offerings, and I look forward to serving your needs respectfully and with success.
