This is a 1817 King George III Sixpence British Sterling Silver Coin in superb condition. It was minted during the Milled era (1816-1837) in the United Kingdom. The coin has a fineness of 0.925 and is a valuable piece of British currency from that time period. There are light surface marks on the coin. The coin  was minted by the Royal mint under the reign of British King George 111 sixpence laureate head date below reverse crowned shield in garter edge milled.
