PLEASE NOTE: These were made in the 1960's and 1970's and the glue has become quite brittle. In addition, the Opal chips on the branches were originally covered in a clear lacquer, but that has gone yellow/brown and is no longer clear and transparent. These trees could therefore do with some rejuvenation by removing all opal chips and soak in acetone or some other solvent to remove glue and lacquer, then glue back on.
We do not import, promote or sell Synthetic, “Created” or “Man Made” Opal, nor any non-Australian mined Opal. On 27 July, 1993, The Australian Government proclaimed Opal as the National Gemstone of Australia!
