This HEPM 6-flute carbide end mill has a 0.5 in \ 1/2" cutting diameter, with a 1/2" weldon shank, 2" length of cut (LOC), 0.03" radius, and a 4" overall length. It is hybrid AlCrN coated, and made to cut steel and stainless steel, but is capable of cutting some grades of cast iron and high-temp. alloys. This end mill is designed to center-cut, and the unique, variable pitch configuration helps to reduce unwanted harmonics and vibrations.
