This is an N Scale  InterMountain Railway Co.  factory assembled GATX Leasing SD40-2 locomotive with InterMountain's smooth, powerful drive.  It is available in two configurations: ESU DCC Sound Equipped and DC Only.  This model is brand new for December 2024 and is fully covered by the manufacturer's warranty.  The InterMountain stock number is # 69323.  This locomotive is available in 4 locomotive numbers:

The InterMountain Railway Co. N Scale SD40-2 Locomoitve has finely molded and etched metal detail parts that have been designed to reproduce railroad specific details.  Sound units come equipped with an all new ESU LokSound 5 DCC "Slide-In" sound decoder which allows for road name specific prototype flashing ditch lights.  The models are also offered as standard DC.
