2025 Honey Bee Antiqued Coloured 2 oz Silver Coin:

Struck from 2 ozs of 99.99% pure silver, this spectacular coin, with an antiqued and coloured finish, pays homage to one of Earth’s most remarkable insects, the Honey Bee.

Key features:

The western honey bee, scientifically known as Apis mellifera, derives its name from Latin origins. 'Apis', meaning 'bee', and 'mellifera', meaning 'honey-bearing' aptly describes the species' ability to produce and store honey, a characteristic that has made it one of the most significant and widespread honey bee species in the world.

This coin has been ‘antiqued’ by hand to give it a unique finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artifact. As a result of this treatment, the appearance of other coins in this limited mintage varies.

The coin is housed in a classic display case with a clear lid. Packaged in a themed shipper, accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (No 0030).  It is in perfect condition – obtained directly from the Perth Mint.  It is the coin pictured (the first image is generic).
