Fascinating collection of books on Egypt. A mix of hardcover and paperback, different sizes of books, ranging from coffee table and very thick and heavy books to smaller softcover books. Most of these books are illustrated. Various publication dates as well, some of these books are published by academic publishers like Oxford or Praeger while others are more along the lines of “beginner” type of Egyptology books. The book on Mummies of the World includes information on mummies both Egyptian and from other cultures. The book whose cover does not have a title is called “Daily Life in Ancient Egypt” and is published by Horizon. The books are in various conditions and I will describe them as follows:

12 of the books are practically new and hardly touched.

11 of the books are in very good condition, also hardly touched, but with minor signs of use. These look like they’ve been shelved and well cared for, no rips to the jackets, very respectable looking books with only minor signs of use.

Two of the books are in good condition with a bit more use but very, very close to being very good. These have good bindings and good jackets as well. Really only lightly used. You might even call these very good, but I am trying to be a bit discriminating.

Two of the books are in acceptable condition and have visible wear to the boards or jacket, but they still have good bindings.

Two of the books are EX library in protective jackets with library labels. They are fairly well worn but still perfectly good for research or reading.

In all of these books 99% of the pages are completely free of marks.

None of these books are moldy or musty. They are all from non-smoking homes.

I was only able to photograph the interior of about 10 of the books, but you should get a general idea of what is in this collection and you can always research the books by title and author before making a decision on buying the collection.

The books weigh 60 pounds in total, which is why the shipping is what it is.

Please message if you have any questions. I will likely ship these all in one box, but I will make sure that they are well packaged. Thank you for reading all the way through to the end!
