16th. – 18th. Century Genuine Censer used in Orthodox Christian Rituals. It is made of brass. Decoration consists by three crucifix crosses, religious patterns and themes, typical for the Byzantine Art. The bottom is nice decorated. Nice Crucifix Cross pendant is hanging on the bottom. A beautiful oval plate with loop is placed on the top to hold the brass chains which are with croses. Perfect for use at home or church. Amazing style and masterly crafted item. The item is as found condition and with the original time superb patina and deposits. Excellent and RARE type censer, especially in that as found condition!!!This would make a great addition to any collection.
In order to use, place a piece of charcoal inside, light it up and then add a couple of frankincense stones or incense on the coal.
