Original 1935 fold-out road map of Maine and the Maritime Provinces, printed more than 90 years ago.

  • It was published by the Tide Water Oil Company of New York in 1935 to promote its Tydol and Veedol brands.

  • It opens to 23½" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments and route numbers, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.

  • The cover graphics show a pretty girl at the wheel of her car, red scarf blowing in the wind.

  • Inside are street plans of Portland, Bangor, and Augusta, as well as the maps of Maine and Canada's Maritime Provinces.

  • Condition:  The map is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with faint creases in the lower corner and no marks, rips, tears. Be sure to take a look at the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
