Product Description
Mustang II IFS Performance Tubular Control Arms Kit with Gussets Drag Gasser 350
Mustang II Tubular Control Arm Set by Cornerstone Suspension Tech includes 2 upper control arms, 2 lower control arms and installation gussets. Everything you need in one kit!
These control arms are a fully assembled, ready-to-install, direct replacement for stock upper and lower control arms on any Helix Mustang II IFS application and will fit most stock or aftermarket crossmembers with gussets installed. The lower arms are a direct replacement for stock Mustang II LCAs with standard springs.
The Cornerstone Suspension Tech upper control arm assembly features 12 point TIG welded construction for maximum strength and durability, corrosion/rust resistant painted surface (except powder coated cross shaft), full .120 wall aircraft quality tubular design which is lighter weight yet much stronger than OE stock design and provides for more clearance for body sheet metal. Complete assembly includes cross shaft with polyurethane no-squeak bushings & steel sleeves, knurled surface mount area* on cross shaft, screw-in ball joint with urethane dust boot and grease fitting, castle nut w/ cotter pin, castle nut spacer, 2 ea. Nyloc nuts and plain washers. These upper control arms are a stock width design (non-narrowed) and ready to drop in immediately out of the box. For all of your suspension needs, Cornerstone Suspension Tech delivers the winning edge for maximum performance when it really counts!
*Cross Shaft has knurled surface area on both sides of mounting points which provides bite into mounting surface area so as to prevent slippage and hold alignment settings. Surface area on cross shaft is unfinished and repainting/refinishing shaft is not recommended because any type of body filler or thick paint will prevent knurls from biting properly which can cause slippage and loss of alignment adjustment.
The Cornerstone Suspension Tech lower control arm assembly features precision fabricated TIG welded construction and 1 inch O.D. aircraft quality tubular steel design with full .120 wall for maximum strength and durability. This makes for a lighter weight yet much stronger LCA than the original stock arm that will endure a far higher stress load than the OEM design.
Complete left and right assembly includes 2 ea. 5/8-11 x 12 hex bolts (cross shaft), nylon locking nuts and large 5/8 washers, built-in polyurethane no-squeak bushings w/ steel sleeves, screw-in ball joint with urethane dust boot & grease fitting, 7/16-14 x 7 hex bolt (Allen head), castle nut w/ cotter pin, and castle nut/ball joint spacers (2 ea. x 2). This lower control arm assembly is stock design and ready to drop in immediately out of the box. For all of your suspension needs, Cornerstone Suspension Tech deliver the winning edge for maximum performance when it really counts!
