Here's a decorative fibreglass panel of which I know very little about. It was possibly made as a commercial exhibit or display, maybe in a museum or a bank and reminds me a little of the work of artist George Mitchell. I think it was made in 1960 as the 3 pence on the panel is from much earlier than the 1960 date displayed, the other coins are King George III c1812. I cant find a signature or makers mark.
The panel has some small marks and chips to the back edges and corners, possibly from when the piece was removed from a wall , this is a fibreglass so the panel robust. It looks like it was attached to a wall support by the top two protruding sections. The panel doesn’t sit flush to the wall, there are no fittings to attach the panel. Please study the photos.
