Hello!

This listing is for a genuine and brand new Mercedes 722.9 (7 speed) transmission service kit.  This will work for the latest versions of the 722.9, specifically those that have the reduced friction code (A89) and blue fluid.  Easiest way to tell is to check the transmission pan, if there are 4 circular indents, this is your kit! Of course, you can message me your VIN and I can check to make sure. This kit includes the following:
  • OE Mercedes Transmission Filter (Updated A89 version)
  • OE Mercedes Transmission Pan Gasket
  • OE Mercedes Transmission Pan Pinch Bolts (6)
  • OE Mercedes Transmission Pan Drain Plug Washer
  • OE Mercedes Transmission Oil Guide Tube (Green)
The transmission service procedure on these is not that simple, and correct tools are needed to perform the procedure correctly.  Particularly, you need to be able to pump the BLUE 236.15 certified fluid up into the transmission from the pan drain plug bolt.  I can answer service-related questions to any potential buyers, before or after sale.  Alternatively, I can service your vehicle at our shop in Los Angeles for $400 including labor and the above mentioned parts.  We've been here for 35 years at the same location with the same ownership!
