Pro Diver 24625

Invicta are renowned for their Dive watches. There are probably more YouTube clips on Invicta Divers than any other timepiece. This piece is their 47mm quartz iteration of their famous “Pro Diver” model name.

At 47mm in dia these pieces hit the sweet spot, being big enough for time telling at a glance but not so large as to be cumbersome. This model is fitted with the Seiko quartz three hand movement with date. A simple movement to be sure but one that remains accurate and reliable for many years.

The dial is deep dished with a silver vertical outer chapter ring. The dial colour is jet black. Five minute indexes are finished in white lume, outlined in rose gold. Large hour and minute hands have also been finished in white lume, again outlined in rose gold. The main sweep seconds hand is finished in gold and tipped in white lume.

The unidirectional bezel has been finished in rose gold and silver and supports large raised dive indices on its horizontal surface. The outer circumference of the bezel has been machined in a coin edge profile providing grip for the user when setting dive times.

A rose gold crown is in the 3 o’clock position, protected by a crown riser machined into the case. A double O-ring crown stem and screw on case back provides for a water resistance rating of up to 100 metres. The solid stainless three link bracelet is 22mm wide and 4mm thick. The outside links have been finished in silver with the centre link in high polish rose gold. A over centre double locking deployment clasp completes what is a well executed everyday wearer by Invicta.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige
