OMEGA Speedmaster 2nd Ref.2998-6 Cal.321 SS Black Dial Manual Winding Chrono

Item Description

1960s Ref.2998-6 Cal.321 Hand-wound

This is the second generation Speedmaster model, which is why it is called the "Moonwatch". Like the first model, it is equipped with the "Cal.321", which is said to be the masterpiece of hand-wound chrono movements in terms of accuracy, durability, and design.

[OMEGA] OMEGA was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by Louis Brandt. The brand name is the last letter of the Greek alphabet "Ω = Omega" because of its pride in being the ultimate watch, and it is a prestigious company that has achieved many outstanding results in its long history of over 160 years since its founding.

[Dial] There are scratches and some repair marks. There is no particularly noticeable damage. There is no fading of the letters or memory. The hands, indexes, and luminous material have deteriorated. *The chrono hands are not diamond-shaped.
[Case/back cover] There are scratches and scuffs. The engraving on the back cover has faded. There are no major dents. It has been polished and worn down.
[Crystal] The Omega watermark can be seen. There are scratches and scuffs. Daily visibility when worn is sufficiently ensured.
[Belt] Made by a third party. It shows signs of use, but can be worn immediately.
[Operation] The knob on the right side of the case is the crown. It can be wound manually in the same position.

Since it is a hand-wound watch, please wind the mainspring with the crown every day. If you wind it too hard, the mainspring may break, so please wind it as slowly and gently as possible. Wind the crown by pushing it forward with the pad of your finger in a clockwise direction.

When you pull out the crown and turn it, the hands will move and you can adjust the time. There is no hack (second hand stop) function. To operate the chronograph, press the pusher on the top right to start and stop, and press the pusher on the bottom to reset.

[Accessories] Only the main unit.

The daily difference is within 60 seconds in actual measurements over 24 hours. (There may be some difference in posture when mounted.) The lug width is 19mm. The case diameter is about 39mm (excluding the crown), the length (from lug to lug) is about 47mm, and the thickness is about 14mm (including the crystal).
