This is an original press photo. Ronald Colman and his wife, Benita Hume (above) are going against the trend with their "Halls of Ivy" TV comedy show. The show, based on their long successful radio program, features no thrown pies, splashing seltzer bottles or baggy pants. Instead, Colman says, it's aimed at viewers who like less raucous entertainment, with the husband and wife team behaving like educated human beings but still managing to get into humorous situations. Photo measures 6.75 x 9.75 inches. Photo is dated 12-09-1954.
