Chase Durer CDW-0074

This is one very impressive looking timepiece with the pedigree to back it up. At 49mm in dia and 14mm thick it is not a small watch but it seems unusually light. I believe this is due in part to the dial and crystal covering most of the diameter of the case. The dial is 44mm dia which is large given that the case is 49mm.

The bezel or, (slide rule) is inboard on these models, rotated by a crown set at the 10 o’clock position. By rotating the slide rule, time, distance and speed calculations can be accomplished. The main dial of this model is finished in black and supports chronograph functions of the Swiss Made Ronda Z60 quartz movement. Elapsed seconds and accumulated minutes can be timed, operated by the chronograph pushers set either side of the main crown in the 3 o’clock position. A third sub dial keeps track of the days of the week whilst a date window can be found in the 4 o’clock position.

Large hour and minute hands are finished in white lume, outlined in gold. The main sweep seconds hand is finished in gold, tipped in white lume. This piece is quality all the way with its high polish case finish complimented with a beautiful polished five link solid stainless bracelet. One again Invicta have chosen to machine the double locking over centre deployment clasp out of solid stainless which to me is a nice finishing touch on this style of watch. The same can be said for the high gloss black lacquered timber presentation case which has to be seen to be believed.

Case integrity has been insured by the use of a screw down crown and back giving a water resistance rating of up to 200 metres. This is a lot of watch for the price which has obviously been exceptionally well designed an impeccably finished.

Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes with paperwork in a Chase Durer Presentation case and will be sent for free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
