JC-2 preamp by the famous designer John Curl sound in the 1970s designed a preceding stage, and it has been 30 years, but now there have been fans still discuss and imitation, we can see JC-2 is indeed worthy of a classic front stage!

 

This circuit reference the original machine design, symmetrical FET input stage for the whole structure, output coupler for the German elixir WIMA capacitors, small capacitors imported silver mica, tube selection of imported and precision pairing. Left and right channels designed separately, each of two boards.

Test Data Figure: Test data show that the distortion of the circuit is very small, and the gain of each band is relatively average. The gain of the whole circuit is about 3.2 times.

 

Trial and test data is exactly the same, each band are terrific, especially the vocal performance is very natural, sweet, great flavor, heard the taste!
