LAST-A-FOAM® is wonderfully versatile for sandwich-core applications. It cuts and shapes easily with common woodworking tools, and bonds to itself and other materials with most epoxy, polyester, or urethane-type adhesives. LAST-A-FOAM® is unaffected by water, fuels and most solvents, and paint finishes are easily applied. It is frequently used in regular molds after the gel-coat and first two layers of glass are installed; the LAST-A-FOAM® is added and another layer of glass applied for a strong, light-weight sandwich.

Last-A-Foam® rigid, closed-cell, flame-retardant polyurethane foam available in densities ranging from 3 to 40 pounds per cubic foot. 

It exhibits a high strength-to-weight ratio due to its cellular structure and cross-linked resin. Because of its closed-cell structure, LAST-A-FOAM has great resistance to water absorption, and will not swell, crack, or split on exposure to water.

Note, The cell structure of the foam is very fine.  Some bubbles which are larger than the fine foam structure are normal and will not be considered a defect.
