Everywhere you look on this model Invicta there are details you have never seen before on a timepiece. The case is 47mm in dia and 15mm thick putting it in that sweet spot of being able to be read at a glance but not too big to be cumbersome. The case is stainless steel but looks like titanium with its colouring and finish. The vertical sides of the case are grooved so that the inner case can be viewed. This inner case is luminescent, glowing a soft green at night.

The dial is multilayered and heavily grooved to allow the user to partially see the movement and date ring. This is the Seiko VK64 chronograph big date quartz movement. The big date is referenced to the 6 o’clock position. A blue outer chapter ring supports a Tachymeter Scale printed in white. Round 5 minute indices are in white with the large hour and minute hands finished in white lume. The main sweep seconds hand is finished in blue.

Large sub-dials read accumulated minutes of the chronograph function and the 24hr day night clock. An 8mm dia radius grooved crown can be found in the 3 o’clock position flanked by the chronograph pushers.

This is a case and cradle design, the cradle attaches from underneath the main case and supports the most unusual strap attachment I have ever seen, (please see photos). The attachment points are by way of a screw down bridge with allen head bolts fastening into what looks like suspension rods. The silicon strap has been formed with cylindrical edges and wears a matt titanium coloured buckle with engraved Invicta logo.

This is a very unique timepiece, one that was difficult to acquire because of a limited production run. Timepiece is new with tag and plastics attached. Comes with paperwork in an Invicta Presentation case and will be sent free via Express Post within the land of Oz.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed.

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advice is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers.

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
