Up for bid is a game used baseball hit for a Single by Jeremy Pena on September 23, 2023 off Royals pitcher Jordan Lyles.  Pena singled on a ground ball to left fielder MJ Melendez in the Bottom of the 5th inning.  Before the single, Yainer Diaz lined out to right fielder Drew Waters.  The baseball was thrown for 2 pitches to 2 batters for 1 hit and 1 out!

The baseball was removed from play and authenticated by Major League Baseball.  The MLB authentication record is shown and can be found in the online database.
