Selling these for my father.  He received from an older relative.  I'll be honest,  I have NO idea what these things actually are. I've tried to look them up.  Some descriptions that come up are just storage containers / buckets,  wine box, picnic, hat box, etc.  They're leather on the outside,  with a wooden interior.  They have a snap closure.  The "hinges" have a bit of wear to them.  There are no markings, manufacturer info, dates, or any identifying markers on them... just a small sticker saying "Made in China" on the bottom. 

The pictures of the 2 standing were rotated a 1/4 turn so that you can see any markings on the containers.

If you know what they are and want to enlighten me, I'll definitely update the listing.  Open to any reasonable offers.

Due to size & weight,  no PO boxes exclusively, please.  Want to keep other shipping options available for cost effectiveness.
