We have a Seamaster 300 2nd model / Ref. 165.014 that has aged very nicely. The dial has a dark texture that has faded over time, and the tritium luminous material is eye-catching, giving it a vintage look. The watch features the baton hands and long-tipped second hands that were used before the sword hands, and the overall originality of the time is maintained. The exterior shows signs of use, but the volume and the engraving on the back cover remain. The bezel insert (the black ring with the scale printed on it) was originally made of Bakelite, but it often cracks over time, and this watch is no exception. It was replaced with an external bezel insert in later years, but the original atmosphere has not been compromised and the finish is natural. The strap is equipped with a precious 19mm wide genuine caterpillar brace, and the extension works well.
