Heavy-duty exhaust header pipe professionally TIG welded for durability and long-lasting performance.
Designed for Predator 301cc, Predator 420cc, and other compatible engines. Features a 1" Female NPT threaded outlet, allowing you to attach a compatible threaded muffler or other exhaust accessories.
Two possible exhaust orientations! On the engine models listed below, this exhaust is designed to point straight up at approximately the 12 o'clock position. By installing the exhaust in the reversed orientation (rotated 180°), it can also point straight down at approximately the 6 o'clock position.
Ideal for generators, go-karts, utility equipment, custom engine builds, and other small-engine applications.

On the engine models listed above, this exhaust can be installed in two different orientations:
12 o'clock position: The exhaust outlet points straight up.
6 o'clock position: By reversing the exhaust header pipe (rotating it 180°), the outlet points straight down.
No cutting, welding, or modification is required to change between these two orientations on the listed engines.
IMPORTANT: These approximate 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions are based on the engine models specifically mentioned in this listing.
If you install this exhaust on a different engine model not listed above, the final outlet angle may be different due to the position and angle of that engine's exhaust port.
We cannot guarantee the same 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock orientation on engine models not specifically listed.
Always verify the mounting configuration, dimensions, and available clearance before purchasing, especially if you plan to install the exhaust pointing downward.
Mounting flange bolt-hole spacing: 2.00" center-to-center.

Please consider the additional length and clearance required when installing a threaded muffler, particularly if you plan to position the exhaust downward.

This exhaust features a 1" Female NPT thread.
The term 1" NPT refers to a nominal pipe thread size, NOT an actual 1.00" inside or outside diameter.
A standard 1" NPT male fitting has an outside thread diameter of approximately 1.315" (33.4 mm) and uses 11.5 threads per inch (TPI).
If you are measuring an existing threaded muffler or fitting with calipers, do not assume that a measurement of exactly 1.00" means you need a 1" NPT connection.
This exhaust requires a compatible 1" Male NPT threaded muffler or fitting.
Please confirm the thread size before ordering. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us before making your purchase.
Always use the included gasket and mounting hardware.
Make sure the mounting flange is properly aligned before tightening.
Tighten the mounting hardware evenly.
After approximately one hour of engine operation, allow the exhaust to cool completely and recheck the mounting hardware for tightness.
If installing a threaded muffler, ensure it is properly secured and check for looseness after the first hour of operation.
Ensure adequate clearance from surrounding components, moving parts, and heat-sensitive materials.
If installing the exhaust in the 6 o'clock position, make sure there is enough space below the engine for the exhaust and any attached muffler.
This product is manufactured from mild steel with an SS304 stainless steel threaded outlet. Mild steel may develop surface oxidation or rust when exposed to moisture and high temperatures.
