3.50" Clearance: Measured from the exhaust mounting surface on the engine to the outer edge of the exhaust.
4.25" Clearance: Measured from the exhaust mounting surface to the outer edge of the exhaust on the oil dipstick side.
Muffler Clearance: Allow approximately an additional 1/2" in the area where the muffler is installed.
Why are the measurements different?
The exhaust on the oil dipstick side extends farther outward because the two cylinders on the Predator 670cc V-Twin engine are positioned slightly differently.
These measurements are based on the Harbor Freight Predator 670cc engine only.
