  • The map opens to 32" x 21" and locates motor roads, trails, ranger stations, lookouts, camp and picnic grounds, points of interest, and U.S. highways, including Route 66.


  • The map was published by the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service in 1960 and is dated in the legend.


  • The cover photo shows the San Francisco Peaks, just north of Flagstaff.


  • Images inside include Oak Creek Canyon, Cathedral Rock, the Arizona Snow Bowl, a log train loading up, Mogollon Rim, and the Forest Service mascot Smokey Bear.
