Handsome
fold-out 1960 recreation map of Coconino
National Forest in north central Arizona, printed more than 64 years
ago.

The map opens to 32" x 21" and locates motor roads, trails,
ranger stations, lookouts, camp and picnic grounds, points of interest,
and U.S. highways, including Route 66.

The map was published by the United States Department of Agriculture
Forest Service in 1960
and is dated in the legend.

The cover photo shows the San Francisco Peaks, just north of Flagstaff.

Images inside
include Oak Creek Canyon, Cathedral Rock, the Arizona
Snow Bowl, a log train loading up, Mogollon Rim, and the Forest
Service mascot
Smokey Bear.

bright and clean, with no
rips, tears, or writing. It folds to 8" x 3½".
