Here is a gorgeous and extremely rare early Schneider 24cm Symmar large format lens. The outside barrel has what I would call average wear for the age of the lens but the glass is absolutely beautiful with only some very light cleaning marks on the rear element and a line of tiny bubbles (from manufacturing no doubt). No noticeable scratches, no fungus, mold or separation. Considering the rarity you would be very unlikely to find another example of this lens with glass this nice. I have only seen a couple of these come up for sale in the last 10 years or so and they are usually quite ugly. I have heard this 24cm and the 30cm Symmars are the most desirable versions but not exactly sure why.
