The term chenille comes from the French word for
“caterpillar,” referring to the yarn’s soft, fuzzy texture that resembles
caterpillar fur. This construction creates a luxurious short pile with a rich,
soft finish.
This fabric is widely used by UK furniture manufacturers to
produce sofas, cushions, curtains, and many other home furnishings. It meets
high upholstery standards for durability, comfort, and appearance.

Shipping Policy
- Orders
placed Monday–Friday before 10:00am will be dispatched the same working
day (subject to stock availability and payment clearance).
- Orders
placed after 10:00am, or over weekends and bank holidays, will be
dispatched the next working day.
- Unless
a specific delivery service is selected, orders will be sent via Royal
Mail 48-hour post or Hermes 48-hour tracked service, depending on parcel
size.
Returns Policy
Our 30-day returns guarantee means that if you are
unhappy with your purchase, you may return the item in its original condition
within 30 days of purchase (provided we are informed within this period).
Please note:
- You
are responsible for return postage costs on unwanted items.
- Any
refund issued will be minus administration fees.
- Please
include a copy of your order and a brief note explaining the reason for
return.
- Unwanted
goods must be returned via Royal Mail recorded delivery.
