The newly developed Escape tailgate tent fits various identically constructed vehicle models: Peugeot Traveller, Citroën Spacetourer and Toyota Proace. Installation is child's play. The tent roof is simply placed over the tailgate. In the lower area, the flysheet of the tent is tensioned with numerous, replaceable guy ropes. This technique allows assembly without tools within a few minutes. The large front wall can be rolled up completely or set up as a sun canopy. A large mesh window is sewn into this wall and can be closed with tinted film, with blackout on the inside. Both side windows are made of tinted window film with blackout. The generous external septic strip keeps rainwater out. Stable guy ropes and numerous guy ropes make the tent very wind stable.

This tailgate tent is specifically designed to fit a the models above and we are often asked if it will fit other models of campervan. Please check the awning sizes in the photos, if your van matches it should fit.

If you are wondering if it will fit your campervan, then the following 3 features are critical:

1. A tailgate style boot door - it will not work with barn door style boot doors

2. A van roof height of 195cm - any higher or lower and it will not fit
